Community transport
- Community transport is additional to public transport and is provided by voluntary organisations in areas where public transport is not sufficient to meet community needs or
is not accessible for people with physical disabilities. The three main types
of scheme available in Powys are dial-a-ride services, social and community
car schemes and taxi card schemes. The County Council also provides a
concessionary travel token scheme and, through Children, Families and Lifelong
Learning, a community minibus service.
